At the beginning of 2011 King Street Chapel had groups set up for the youth in the church and the older generation, but nothing for the 'middle aged' folk!

They got together to decide that a social group would be started that would meet quarterly. The idea being that the activities were informal enough for people to invite friends along to get to know others, and have some fun!

The first event was on Saturday 12th February where the group went ten pin bowling in Taunton. It was then decided this new group should be called 'Timeout'. An appropriate name for a group of people who could enjoy taking time out from work or family duties for a night and just enjoy themselves and fellowship with others.
